This service is offered by the Town of Indian Trail Planning and Engineering Departments. Design professionals and property owners may use this site to submit development plans and obtain Town permits without leaving their home or office.
Please use the Create Project icon for new submissions and the My Projects icon to submit revisions to existing projects. At this time, plans associated with the following projects/permits may be submitted online.
- Site Plan Permits
- Minor and Major Subdivisions
- Final Plats
- Special Use Permits and Variances
- Zoning Map Amendments
- Conditional Rezonings
- Zoning Text Amendments
Use the Create Permit icon to submit minor permit requests such as:
- Individual Single Family Home Permit
- Accessory Structure Permit (i.e. sheds, etc.)
- Home Addition Permit
- Zoning Compliance Permit for New Businesses
- Interior/Exterior Building Upfit Permit
- Temporary Use/Special Event Permit
- Sign Permit
Use the Request Inspection link to submit final as-built surveys and request final zoning inspections. For residential permits only. For site developments contact the Planning Department to schedule final inspections. Inspections will be conducted within 1-3 business days and a response email will be sent to the primary permit contact. NOTE: The applicant is responsible for forwarding to Union County any awarded Compliance Certificates.
If you have previously applied for a permit with Indian Trail, you may not need to create a new account. Select "Login", enter the email that was previously used then select an option to receive your PIN. If you HAVE NOT previously applied for a permit with Indian Trail, click "Create Account".
